Do remember not to spank your kid. Otherwise, you might end up in jail.
Well, that’s if you’re staying in California. Fox News reports that a California assemblywoman has put up for approval a legislation that would outlaw spanking children three and under. Offenders will be sentenced to up to a year’s jail or a fine up to US$1,000.
Thankfully, Singapore is not likely to implement such a ruling. But then again, I don’t see the need to spank Matthew … yet. Even if I have to now, I usually just beat him lightly on his hands to remind him not to do certain things and also tell him ‘NO’.
