Two Parents Are Needed to Raise A Successful, Functioning Child

Violet Acres recently wrote about the need for both parents to play a part in the development of a child. It is definitely not just the role of one parent, usually the mother.

Personally, my wife and I both ensure that we make decisions together to prevent this exact issue from cropping up. And it’s critical for us to remember what was taught during our church’s Marriage Preparation and Infant Baptist classes that a marriage and family is first and foremost about the husband and wife. The child(ren) is(are) just extensions of the family.
