Childhood Years Impact Fertility

Was intrigued by the title when I saw it in my feed reader.

After reading the BBC News article, I realized that the research done was only applicable to women.

Basically, they studied groups of women from Bangladesh that migrated to the UK on different stages in life. The research shows that women who spent their childhood in the UK had higher levels of reproductive hormones as compared to those who were brought up in Bangladesh. However, the better conditions and food also resulted in a significant increase in progesterone levels that may result in higher breast cancer risks in future generations.

So, if you hope to be grandparents in future, then remember to start giving your children healthier food and environment. :)
