Time to cut down on the sausages and burgers that you eat, particularly if they contain a specific additive.

The European Food Safety Authority has made their concerns known about the use of a coloring E128 (or Red 2G) in the making of sausages and burgers which might cause cancer, according to a news article on BBC News | Health. However, it is good to note that the use of this additive is banned in a number of countries, including Japan. So, it might be good to check the sausages and burgers you buy from the supermarkets to make sure that this additive is not one of the ingredients.

NB: Must remind myself to check on ingredients of the sausages we buy for Matthew as he loves sausages since he was about six months old.
