		<description>&lt;p&gt;Thanks for linking to this study.  My daughter is 1 1/2 and has glasses.  It was really hard to see her with glasses and I was definitely worried about the perceptions of other kids (I realize that the study looked at older kids), so I&#039;m glad to hear that maybe that&#039;s not much of an issue anymore.  I agree with you that in movies and TV shows, glasses tend to be a short hand way of indicating that a character is smart.&lt;/p&gt;
