Researchers have found that there is a link between pregnancy stress and the higher risk of the child developing asthma or other allergies.
Other studies have shown that the risk of asthma and other allergies is controlled by a mix of genetic and environmental (such as dust mites) factors. However, with this new study, the researchers have found that the impact of these factors may also be influenced in some way with the baby is still in the uterus. And this is magnified when the mother comes under stress during pregnancy.
So, make sure the house is kept clean, particularly the mattress, and try to be less stressed. AND husbands … try your very best not to anger or stress your pregnant wives. They are already under quite a bit of pressure and stress with the pregnancy. Don’t add on to it.
Note to self: Must remind my sister to be less stressed.
